My Experiences: Jane Lee-Stewart

This work is a constant reminder of the connection we have to each other. Time and again, I hear that the work undertaken with a client has brought about amazing changes in those immediately around them. Last week, a nurse who cared for her 96 years old mother, sought help for her own anger. On her weekly visits to her mum she was met with a series of orders barked at her the second she walked in the door. Her mother had never once shown any appreciation or said that she loved her daughter or any other member of the family.

The following week I received a thrilled call from the woman to say that since her treatment, her mother’s behaviour had changed beyond belief. She had apologized for being harsh and demanding and had for the first time responded to her hug and told her daughter she loved her.

For me, crystals are magnificent entities cooperating with humans as co creators of transformation and evolution. As a child, my first magical encounter with crystals was growing alum crystals in a jar. My favourite episode of the original Superman TV series with George Reeves, was where Clarke Kent and Lois Lane on safari in the African jungle, came across a tribe who revered a sacred carved idol with eyes made from diamonds the size of grapefruit. Of course, one of the greedy explorers on the expedition took off with one of the diamonds leaving the others to face execution. Superman saved the day with his knowledge, that a lump of coal (carbon) could be transformed into a lump of diamond with sufficient pressure over sufficient time. Superman squeezed the coal and viola the lump of coal fast-forwarded 100,000 years into a diamond big enough to replace the idol’s eye and save their lives. 

This fabulous story has all the elements to explain why I love the transformative nature of working with crystals. Crystals do indeed choose you.  In my early years as a kinesiologist, I woke one morning to find a clear single terminated quartz crystal placed in the middle of the doorway to my healing space. It was not there when I went to bed and I was alone in the apartment with my 5-year-old son.  I knew it was a gift to assist my work even though I had never worked consciously with crystal energies at that stage. Similarly, many have reported supernatural occurrences when working with the exquisite glass bottles of colour and gem elixirs contained in Vicky Wall’s Aura Soma range. The bottles which respond to the energies of their user, have been known to mysteriously move, grow deposits, or change colour overnight.

Recently, I spent some time with the spiritual teacher and author Chris Griscom, who told me about a friend who had discovered a crystal and lapis structure lined with gold, while diving with two friends off Bimini in the Bahamas. The structure had opened and he swam inside. He was warned not to return to look for it again.  The two friends did return to the site to look for the crystal and have both disappeared.

It is certain that crystals can appear when they are needed and disappear when they are not. Apparently this law works in an opposite way to the one operating in the kitchen when help is needed with housework.  Help disappears when it’s needed and appears when it’s not. Perhaps soon we’ll be able to program our crystals to do housework.

Holistic Kinesiology is a form of energy medicine using biofeedback from muscle monitoring to identify and balance all types of stress to healthy levels and promote self-healing. In a state of balance or homeostasis, we are healthy and the body self regulates. Stress may compromise physical, biochemical or emotional health and kinesiology focuses on these three as equally important.

Practitioners use muscle monitoring originating from chiropractic techniques with Eastern approaches to balancing chi (prana) or life force energy in the body.  This, combined with an energetic set-up called formatting, allows the kinesiologist to address key issues underlying symptoms or worries.

Energy balancing with kinesiology takes into account the interrelationship of muscles, glands, nerves, meridians, organs and brain structures. Biofeedback from the mindbody also identifies the correction needed.  Hundreds of different corrections may be used including acupressure, flower essences, holding or massage of specific reflex points, creative visualisation, dietary advice, working with subtle energy fields or corrections using sound, colour or light or crystals.

Kinesiology can help a client move away from worry and over-thinking, sadness and depression, fear and anxiety, loss of direction in life, confusion and indecision, relationship blocks, fight and flight reactions, or any other kind of mental or emotional stress.  This therapy can also help improve memory, learning and the ability to focus under stress.

A kinesiology session incorporates attunement to a goal, and then bypasses the conscious mind to find and release self-limiting issues and beliefs. It helps the client embrace transformation and increase conscious awareness.

More energy, less anxiety, reduced pain and increased joy and peaceful awareness are the most commonly noticed results of a kinesiology session.

Kinesiology and Crystal Healing

Kinesiology recognises and responds to the crystalline structure of the human body. Kinesiology is also holographic and responds to the emotional imprints encoded at a cellular level and present in every cell of the body. This emotional DNA relates to everything that has happened to us in this lifetime is bound with our physical, genetic DNA.

In addition to this relationship to the crystalline structure of the body, kinesiology’s unique biofeedback response can also be used to identify when crystals or gem elixirs are needed for healing and which crystal to use.

The practitioner can employ crystal amplification for vibrational healing methods using colour, sound and light.  For example acupoints may be stimulated with quartz crystal energy that amplifies colour via a crystal torch.
